Level 8 – Smart Agriculture Kit

R 1,020

The Smart Agriculture Kit introduces learners to sustainable farming and environmental automation through hands-on coding and electronics. With sensors and outputs such as a soil moisture sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, light sensor, water pump, and relay, students explore how technology can optimise food production and resource use.

Learners begin with guided projects like automated irrigation, water level detection, and temperature-based plant care. From there, they are encouraged to design and test their own smart farming solutions, experimenting with environmental monitoring and automation. The kit not only builds coding and electronics skills but also develops systems thinking and problem-solving in the context of real-world challenges like water conservation and climate impact.
