The Smart Science IoT Kit equips learners with real-world sensors and outputs to explore how data is collected, monitored, and acted upon in everyday systems. With components such as a PIR motion sensor, soil moisture sensor, sound and light sensors, buzzer, and LED, students see firsthand how technology powers smart homes, schools, and environments.
Learners follow five guided projects – from voice-controlled lights and soil moisture alerts to temperature-based fans and motion-triggered alarms, building confidence in connecting sensors to outputs. Once they have mastered the basics, the kit opens the door to limitless experimentation, where students can design their own sensor-driven solutions, test thresholds, and create environmental control systems.
